BSMA is located at 317 Germania Street in downtown Fredericksburg, VA.  Our building is two blocks from Carl's Ice Cream at the intersection of Charles and Germania Street.  BSMA is open Monday through Friday from 9am-7pm, and Saturday from 9am-5pm. Who is BSMA... Barbie Smith Massage Associates was established in 2000 to provide therapeutic massage and bodywork in a safe, clean and peaceful environment.  Barbie Smith graduated in 1992 with a B.S. in physical education and health.  She taught for 6 years in Spotsylvania County, VA before graduating from the Piedmont School of Massage.  The Nationally Certified Massage Therapists at BSMA collectively have over 30 years of experience in client treatment. What does BSMA do... BSMA offers a wide variety of therapeutic massage and bodywork.  The therapists at BSMA are trained in stress reduction massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and other muscle energy techniques.  The practice also offers pre and post event sports massage, prenatal massage, hot stone massage, reiki, and reflexology.  Therapists can also help alleviate pain from fibromyalgia, sciatica, migraine, and other areas of chronic pain.
